Metro University follows a structured admission process to help applicants choose the right programme, check eligibility and proceed through the counselling route, applicable entrance & document verification.
The admissions team is available to guide students and parents at every stage of the process — from programme selection to final admission confirmation.
Admission Process Steps
Step 1: Explore Programmes
Review the programmes offered across:
School of Engineering & Technology
School of Business & Commerce
School of Journalism & Mass Communication
Students are advised to review the programme details, duration, eligibility, fee structure and career pathways before applying.
Step 2: Check Eligibility
Read the programme-wise eligibility criteria carefully before starting the application. Eligibility will vary depending on the programme level, academic background, entrance requirements and University norms.
Step 3: Fill the Form
Complete the online application form with accurate personal, academic programme and other details. Applicants should ensure that all submitted information matches their academic documents and identity proof.
Step 4: Pay Application Fee
Submit the application fee of INR 1,100 through the approved payment process. The application will be processed only after the successful submission of the form and the applicable application fee.
Step 5: Entrance, Counselling and Personal Interview
Admission will be subject to the applicable entrance process, including CUET, MUET or other recognised entrance criteria where applicable, followed by document verification and a Personal Interview, as prescribed by the University. The admissions team will guide applicants regarding the applicable process for their chosen programme.
Step 6: Document Verification
Applicants must submit the required academic documents, identity proof and certificates for verification. Admission remain provisional subject to successful verification of eligibility and documents as per University norms.
Step 7: Admission Confirmation
After completion of the applicable entrance/counselling process, document verification and fee formalities, eligible applicants will receive admission confirmation as per University guidelines. Final enrolment will be completed after submission of the required documents and payment of applicable fees.

Documents Required at the Time of Admission
- Class X marksheet and certificate
- Class XII marksheet and certificate
- Graduation marksheets and degree, where applicable
- Postgraduation marksheets and degree, where applicable
- Entrance test scorecard, where applicable
- Aadhaar card or valid government ID
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Category certificate, if applicable
- Migration/transfer certificate, where applicable
- Any other document required by the University at the time of admission
