Dr. Arunesh K. Dwivedi

Meet the Associate Professor

Dr. Arunesh K. Dwivedi, a media professional-turned-media academician with over 18 years of experience spanning both the media industry and higher education. His professional journey reflects a unique blend of industry expertise and academic excellence, which is required to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world media practices.

Before entering academia, Dr Dwivedi worked as a Producer and Anchor with India’s leading media organisations, including ETV, Zee News, IBN7, News24, CNEB News, and All India Radio, New Delhi.

In Media Education, Dr Dwivedi have the privilege of teaching and mentoring students at several reputed institutions, including Mangalayatan University, Sharda University, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Jamia Millia Islamia, the Gulshan Kumar Film and Television Institute of India (GKFTII), ISOMES (affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut), and LLDIMS and Trinity Institute (affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi).

Dr Dwivedi holds M.Phil., Ph.D., and UGC-NET qualifications in Journalism and Mass Communication. His academic and research interests include Broadcast Journalism, Television News Production, Radio Production Digital Journalism, and Media Research. His teaching philosophy focuses on experiential learning, critical thinking, research excellence, and continuous professional development.

He has participated in and presented more than 18 research papers in the National/International conferences. His 15 research papers are published in UGC Care and Peer Reviewed Journals. He has also authored a book on the Credibility of TV News Channels.
