1. Provisional Nature of Admission

  • Admission is provisional and subject to verification of all documents, certificates, eligibility conditions, and information submitted by the applicant.
  • The University reserves the right to cancel admission if any information or document submitted by the applicant is found to be false, misleading, incomplete, forged, or fabricated.
  • Before cancellation on such grounds, the University may provide the applicant an opportunity to explain, wherever considered appropriate.

2. Eligibility Requirements

  • The applicant must satisfy all eligibility criteria prescribed by the University and applicable statutory or regulatory authorities.
  • Failure to fulfil eligibility requirements at any stage may result in cancellation of admission.

3. Submission of Documents

  • Original documents shall be produced for verification within the prescribed timeline.
  • Admission may be cancelled if required documents are not submitted within the stipulated period.

4. Payment of Fees

(1) Admission shall be confirmed only upon payment of the prescribed fees within the specified deadline.

(2) Failure to pay the prescribed fees within the stipulated period may result in withdrawal of the admission offer.

5. Fee Structure and Revision

  • Fees and other charges shall be payable as prescribed by the University from time to time.
  • Any revision in fees shall be implemented in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and University policies and shall be notified to students in advance.
  • Fees already paid for the current academic period shall ordinarily not be affected unless otherwise permitted under applicable regulations.

6. Refund of Fees

Refund of fees shall be governed by the applicable UGC Regulations, Guidelines on Refund of Fees and Non-Retention of Original Certificates, and the University’s Refund Policy, as amended from time to time.

7. Compliance with University Rules

  • Students shall abide by the Act, Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations, Rules, Policies, Codes, and directions issued by the University from time to time.
  • The University reserves the right to amend such provisions in accordance with applicable procedures.

8. Anti-Ragging Undertaking

  • Admission shall be subject to submission of anti-ragging undertakings by the student and parent/guardian as required under the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, as amended from time to time.
  • Any act of ragging shall attract disciplinary action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

9. Code of Conduct

Students shall:

  • Maintain discipline and decorum within and outside the campus.
  • Respect fellow students, faculty, staff, visitors, and University property.
  • Refrain from ragging, harassment, discrimination, violence, cyber misconduct, substance abuse, vandalism, or any act prejudicial to the interests of the University.

10. Use of Technology and Digital Resources

  • Students shall use University digital resources, ERP systems, networks, software, and online platforms responsibly and lawfully.
  • Misuse of digital resources may attract disciplinary and legal action.

11. Scholarships and Financial Aid

  • Scholarships, fee concessions, and financial assistance shall be governed by the relevant policies of the University.
  • Continuation of such benefits may be subject to fulfilment of prescribed conditions relating to academic performance, attendance, conduct, and other criteria.

12. Data Privacy

Personal information submitted by students shall be maintained and processed in accordance with applicable laws and University policies.

13. Jurisdiction

Subject to applicable law, the courts and other competent authorities having territorial jurisdiction over the place where Metro University is situated shall have jurisdiction in respect of all matters.

14. Additional terms and conditions

Additional terms and conditions shall be communicated by the University in due course and shall be binding upon the student.
