Merit Scholarships
At Metro University, we believe that excellence deserves recognition. Scholarships are not merely financial assistance; they reflect our commitment to nurturing merit, rewarding academic achievement and empowering future-ready students.
Eligible students applying for graduate programmes may be considered for merit scholarships based on their Class XII performance, subject to the University Scholarship Policy and document verification.

Founding Scholars Merit Scholarships

To celebrate talent and inspire academic excellence, Metro University invites exceptional students to become part of an exclusive cohort of Founding Scholars.
This is more than a scholarship. It is an opportunity to join a community of achievers, innovators and future leaders at the beginning of Metro University’s academic journey.
The first five eligible and admitted meritorious students in every programme shall be offered a 100% tuition fee waiver in the first year*, subject to verification of academic credentials, fulfilment of programme-specific eligibility criteria and completion of admission requirements.

Continuation of scholarship in subsequent years will be governed by the University Scholarship Policy.
Applicable for students with Class XII results from 2026 or 2025, subject to eligibility, document verification and approval by the Scholarship Committee.
Scholarship of Social Welfare Department
The Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, invites applications every year for scholarships for eligible SC, ST and OBC candidates of Uttar Pradesh pursuing higher studies in universities and colleges.

Each scholarship and award will be operated as per the terms and conditions attached to the respective scheme. Students fulfilling the eligibility conditions may seek assistance from the University administration.
Continuation of Scholarship
Scholarships will be granted on an annual basis. Continuation of scholarship in subsequent years of the programme will be governed by the University Scholarship Policy.
Terms & Conditions for Scholarship Continuation*
- Scholarships apply to tuition fees only.
- Students can avail only one category of scholarship at a time.
- Original marksheet must be submitted by 31st October of the admission year.
- Final approval rests with the Scholarship Committee after document verification.
- Continuation of scholarship in subsequent years will be subject to the University Scholarship Policy.
