On September 14, 2026, Metro University hosted a thought-provoking guest session titled “Human Brain vs. Deep Learning,” exploring the intersection of biological cognitive function and artificial intelligence.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Suneet K. Gupta—Director of AIT-CSE at Chandigarh University, leading AI Research Leader, and recognized among Stanford/Elsevier’s Top 2% Scientists (2024)—as our distinguished guest speaker.

During the session, Dr. Gupta decoded how the human brain processes complex information compared to how deep learning architectures attempt to replicate human neural patterns. He offered students deep insights into cutting-edge AI research, machine intelligence frameworks, and the expanding horizons of artificial intelligence.
